In 1960, Lou Brunswick served as one of the founders of the ACME Baseball Program—the organization’s goal being to provide meaningful and rewarding opportunities during the summer for high school baseball players. Lou dedicated his life to FAITH, FAMILY, and BASEBALL. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, coach, and educator. Lou believed in the goodness of young people, and his golden rule was “EVERYONE COUNTS.” The Lou Brunswick Memorial Scholarship has been established to recognize an ACME senior baseball player whose life has been shaped by FAITH, FAMILY, and BASEBALL.

There will be an additional $500 scholarship awarded by the family of Lou Brunswick to one of the seven recipients whose essay best describes how faith, family, and baseball have shaped their life.
